Protecting your privacy is as important to us as it is to you. We have written the following policy to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal information you provide to us at MirrorMate.

MirrorMate frames

MirrorMate provides quality merchandise and customer service. At MirrorMate, our goal is to provide a unique Internet experience that is fun, easy, informative, and secure.

Data security

MirrorMate is fully committed to the highest data security possible. Be assured that all information relating to our customers is stored in a highly secure environment. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information you provide to us online. We do not store credit card numbers in our files, accounting system, or electronic records.

Browsing

When you browse MirrorMate, you do so anonymously. We do not collect your name, e-mail address or any other personal information unless you provide it to us. We do log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to give us an idea of which parts of our website you visit and how long you spend there. Your browser also automatically supplies us with the type of computer and operating system you are using. We do not follow your browsing path outside of MirrorMate.

Information we collect online

In several areas of our site, we ask you to provide information by filling out and submitting an online form. In the checkout area we ask for name, address, e-mail, phone number, credit card and other information needed to process your order. If you have registered as a wholesaler, we keep a record of this information EXCEPT your credit card number. You will have to enter the number each time you order.

How we use the information we collect

If you provide us with your e-mail or phone number, we will inform you that we may use it to send you updates on the latest MirrorMate products and promotions. You can always choose not to receive these updates by following an “unsubscribe” link in the e-mail or text message.
In order to make improvements in the way we communicate and interact with customers, MirrorMate may also compile aggregate data from all of our customers to prepare internal reports about which pages are popular, how many total unique users visit our site, and different traffic patterns. MirrorMate does not use your personally identifiable information with information about pages visited, purchases made, or any other clickstream data.

The website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS and/or email.

We may use their information for advertising or retargeting purposes. We do not sell your information to third party companies. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies - what they are and how we use them

What is a Cookie?
Like many other commercial websites, MirrorMate uses a standard technology called a "cookie" to collect information about how you use the site. A cookie is a small file stored on your computer by a Web site to give you a unique ID. Cookies help make it easier for you to use our site, and they help us customize your experience so that we can provide you with the information you need – when and where you need it.

How we use Cookies.
A cookie generated by our site contains a numeric ID that, for example, allows you to retrieve your Shopping Cart and place an order. We also use cookies to help us know what interests you on our site. In keeping with our standard policy on customer information, we analyze data gathered via cookies only in aggregate, not at the individual customer level.

How we don't (or can't) use Cookies.
We do not use cookies to track your web browsing away from MirrorMate, nor can we. We cannot tell where you have been or where you go once you leave the MirrorMate site. We do not use cookies to match you with any outside or third party database.

How we use e-mail

Occasionally, we send out e-mail updates on products, sales, special events, and promotions. Certain customers who we think might be interested in learning about this information will receive these e-mails. All e-mail offers that you receive from MirrorMate will tell you how to decline further e-mail offers. Click unsubscribe at the bottom of any e-mail you receive from MirrorMate.

We also use e-mail as a means of communicating with our customers. We love to hear from you, and we encourage you to e-mail us with your questions or comments. We read every e-mail we receive.

Information we do not share with others

We do not contribute to or participate in shared or cooperative databases, which give other companies access to your personal information. We do not release credit card or financial information for use by other companies. We do not share, sell or trade information collected as part of a survey or specific details about you or your household. For privacy purposes, all information relating to our customers is stored on a highly secure server.
